I am a registered Republican.  Between now and January 9th, 2026, the local GOP will decide who their Republican candidate is - the candidate who gets the "R" beside their name on the ballot.  The process is in depth and in accordance with local GOP operations, nominations, caucuses or votes.  I will also say this, I am a man of conviction who God made compassionate, open minded and of a servants heart.  I lead in the same capacity... regardless the party, race, economic standing, etc.  I have always been a "Fan of Man" and want what's best for us ALL.

We DO NOT NEED to discuss a WHEEL TAX any time soon!  Unless it is a component of re-evaluating and lessening the Property Tax Rate next budget season, we need to look at alternatives in revenue via cuts or consolidation of services.  Low Hanging fruit needs to be our next target.  

First of all, I accept the challenge to  run for this position and do it with integrity, honesty, sacrifice and a lot of Hard Work.

I ACCEPT THE CHALLENGE TO:

• Grow our revenue streams with the Least Impact on our Citizens: Tourism,  interstate commerce and e-commerce can capture more Sales Tax revenue from non-citizens.  We can capture better data on new construction and property improvements with a County Building Inspector.  Consider the cost of NOT having zoning restrictions in place.
• Find and cut unnecessary expenditures.
• Continue to elevate our Education System - its students, teachers and staff.
• Move the County forward at a manageable pace.
• Investigate and Develop ways to bring new industry to Giles County.
• Get creative in possibly lessening the current property tax strain.
• Review, Develop and Adopt a new 5-year & 10-year Strategic Plan that will fully benefit our Departments without Taxing our Citizens.
• Create INVESTMENT in Giles County.
• Consolidate Services where needed.
• Find cost sharing opportunities and  Partner with the City of Pulaski more.
• Gain lost revenues back: Ambulance non-collection was $421,000 lost in 2024.  
• Lead with decisiveness, with data-driven information and in a way that pulls our Commission together as a TEAM.
• CREATE OPTIMISM AND A SENSE OF COMMUNITY. TEAMWORK, HOPE & LOVING YOUR NEIGHBOR WILL GO A LONG WAY!!!
